New Broadway musical "FELA!"

Critics are beyond raving, and Cal has seen it and was blown away. Members of Antibalas are in the house band. This should raise awareness of Afrobeat in the US significantly.

The East Bay Express critics poll has chosen ALBINO! as Best Band for 2009: "...the group's second album, Peralta House, released in May, was recorded live with all eleven members in the same room at the same time, and its boiling drums, striking guitars, and swirling horns never miss a beat."
